At the Stade de France, the Bataclan, in the cafes and restaurants of Paris... on Friday 13th November, terrorists killed and wounded many innocent people. And in doing so, they also aimed also to kill these places that we love, places which represent culture and a spirit of sharing.
We at WorldEventListings share the grief of the friends and families of the victims of the terrorist attacks of 13th November 2015. And we offer our unconditional support to all the cultural venues affected.
Our raison d'être has always been to share cultural information with as many people as possible. We will continue. We will win. Their failure is only a matter of time.

Description

A new Kengo Kuma building.

A new building to house the Fonds régional d'art Contemporain/Frac Provences-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (Regional Contemporary Art Collection) has been built by Kengo Kuma. Created by the State of the Region, like other Regional Contemporary Art Collections in the context of the goal of decentralisation, the FRAC Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur's mission is to constitute a public collection, ensure its dissemination and support artistic creation. During the summer, it will leave the historic Panier area to move to the Joliette district in the Euro-Mediterranean perimeter. This construction project is part of the Frac "new generation" policy development towards establishing a suitable and efficient tool to achieve their missions, fostering greater visibility at regional, national and international levels.

Thus, all Frac's activities and its entire collection, that is to say nearly 900 works are grouped together in a single location based on an adapted architectural programme.
